Garment-dyed
The Cortina 1956 footwear is tainted by hand with garment-dyed technique which consists of coloring already-made shoes by immersion in tanks or washing in washing machines to intentionally give the product a soft hand and a lively appearance, a unique and vintage look, capable of conveying emotions.
Handmade in ITALY
LeCortina boots are 100% made in Italy, designed and hand crafted in Italy. Every single step in the production process of LeCortina shoes – from the design to the realization of the model, from the choice of the leather to assembling and the quality check are entirely carried out in Italy. The manufacturing steps of the LeCortina shoes are mostly handmade. The use of machineries in the production steps is limited to the support of manual work.
IDEAL DOUBLE STITCH MANUFACTURING
The LeCortina manufacturing process pursues a traditional and artisanal work, which is rooted in the past centuries: the original Ideal manufacturing. The assembling process of the leather upper, the innersole and the sole is made by double-stitching. The leather, the innersole and the sole are double hand-stitched – as well as by using a machine called Rapid – with cotton or nylon twine. The shoe-making process of LeCortina boots is based on the concept of durability.
